This is an omnibus of six short films by six different directors, whose lead characters are unconventional women. They are "Hijoshi," females who live true to themselves and their desires.

In "Demonic Tunes," a dynamic hip-hop group called Urban Protectors is "discovered" by the notorious record producer Dr. Bones, who plans to turn them into part of his zombie army and dominate the world. In "The Killing Kind," 17 year-old Kwame invokes his grandmother's magic of the "killing kind" and puts it into her old rag doll after a group of local thugs put her in the hospital. And finally "Hidden Evil" explores a mysterious vault in the basement of an old abandoned high school, where there lurks an evil that has been locked away for 100 years. When they mistakenly free a horrific spirit, the school becomes a deadly prison and there is no way to escape.

A family on the run from a corrupt state takes refuge in a safe house with an evil past — a terrifying last stop on a near-future Underground Railroad.

The documentary celebrates some of the unsung action stars of the late eighties/nineties in the North American Pictures Catalog. From Cynthia Rothrock and Bolo Yeung to Billy Blanks the film explores the martial arts craze in the U.S. and the ferocious appetite of video store customers for these titles.
